Founder’s Note to Our Supporters:

An exciting update -- I’m thrilled to share some progress with you regarding the strategic direction we’re taking and the work we’ve been tackling to strengthen the famHQ product and experience. The past three years building famHQ have been some of the most rewarding, challenging, and exciting years as an entrepreneur. I am so proud to have built this organization alongside our team to support moms through their career and household journeys. In Year 3, I am thrilled to announce that we are pivoting strategically toward localized experiences, specifically designed for Black moms. These experiences will include career coaching, family goal-setting, and social experiences with an intimate cohort of moms to start.

Building a tech platform for famHQ has come with lots of lessons along the way, including the importance of being clear on the audience we want to serve. We have gotten to this point in our strategy through putting our heads down, conducting market research, trial-and-error, and making critical decisions about our path forward based on our learnings. In addition to our coaching services, we will be honing the 1.0 version of our tech product toward the 2.0 version, which offers curated deals and experiences to Black moms through partnerships with trusted minority and women-owned companies.

Thank you to all our supporters who have donated to our crowdfunding campaign, provided words of encouragement, engagement with our social media posts, and/or amplified our work through podcasts and feature interviews. I can't wait to share more about our next phase... we’re just getting started!

Best,
Joyce
